Neahkahnie Mountain
My friend Jennie and I had planned a cross-country skiing trip for yesterday but some unseasonably warm weather has made the snow conditions very unfavorable. So we switched gears and headed to the Oregon coast. You'd never think it was January. We hiked up Neahkahnie mountain through some fecund coastal woods and up to some magnificent views.Click on thumbnail to view larger image

What a beautiful hike Dave. The forests in Oregon are so different and interesting. I loved the ferns and view of the coast. A day like that helps break up the winter.
