Look Dad, no leash!
I didn't take the camera with me but Sam and I went for a run on the Maple Trail, my favorite loop in Forest Park. I started him on the leash and he was doing well, not pulling as much as usual. When we got off the fire road and to the trail I let him off the leash and to my surprise he did great. He would go a little bit ahead then turn around and wait until I caught up or sometimes he'd run back to get me. Near the end he was a little tired and ran just behind me. He is a blast to trail run with, seeing his happy self bouncing in the woods puts a little extra spring in my step.Posted by Dave at January 28, 2006 09:02 PM
